Laura has worked in the health and fitness industry for over ten years and loves helping people get fit, move better, stay injury-free and lead a healthy lifestyle. She has always loved exercise and has competed in several sports to a high level, including running, triathlon, cycling time trials, rowing and holds the current world record for the fastest marathon ran as an insect. Over the years she has picked up numerous injuries which has led her to explore various rehab methods and found strength training, yoga and massage to be most beneficial.
Laura now works as a Personal Trainer, Yoga Teacher and Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist. She enjoys working with a range of different people, from those who are new to exercise looking to lead a healthy lifestyle to more experienced athletes who are looking to improve their sporting performance.
During her massage sessions, Laura uses a combination of different techniques to release areas of tension, symptomatic pain, improving overall function and movement. This has given her excellent knowledge of anatomy which she uses in her personal training and yoga sessions to improve an individual’s overall strength, mobility and fitness in a safe and effective way. Laura loves seeing the positive effect that exercise and pain-free movement can bring to people; this keeps her enthusiastic to continue learning and improving further.
